Lara and Joe
Lollies Pottery began as a creative adventure when we became empty nesters and found ourselves with extra time—and a lot less laundry. Joe took to the wheel, throwing pots with the enthusiasm of a man discovering his inner ceramicist. Lara prefers to hand build, adding detail, texture, and her signature touch to each piece before glazing it to perfection. It’s a messy, magical partnership that keeps us grounded—literally. Big Willy Pottery is our cheeky side hustle, where whimsy meets craftsmanship and no two pieces (or days) are ever quite the same.

And then there’s Fish—our studio supervisor, emotional support sponge, and expert in tracking clay paw prints across the house. While she doesn’t throw pots (yet), she’s the heart of the operation, always nearby to offer a tail wag, a well-timed bark, or a reminder that it’s time for a walk, not just “one more glaze."
